The village of Duchity is located in the foothills of Pic Macaya; Haiti's second tallest mountain. There resides a group of farmers looking to secure their community's future by planting seeds of hope today.

Although it takes anywhere from 3-5 years for a coffee plant to begin producing coffee cherries, there is no better time to plan (and plant) for your future than today. 

Each dollar you spend will go to the purchase of (1) coffee plant from the local Duchity nursery. Small scale farmers will then be able to plant these seedlings amongst bananas and plantains, vanilla beans and mango trees in what is commonly known as a Kreyol garden.
